It just doesn't look appealing. It looks so CW in presentation. I don't exactly want to see Lex Luthor whining on screen and it isn't something I want to pay money for.

They needed to wait more than one year to clean the slate of DC movies. At this point, DC movies are cursed, and I doubt he average movie goer understand this is a reboot.
