Honestly, I love Tamers MLP stuff so much. It's like South Park. It's crude and fucked up but it tells an actuall storey and can hit you in the feels with real emotional impact.

The Sonic stuff on the other hand is a bit of a choir to get through. Sure there are some good parts but it's like looking at a shitty rough draft of the MLP stuff.

Yeah. I agree I really don't like it when a character just randomly has shit all over their asses. But the farts are always funny. Except in the episode where they went to the country kitchen beffet and Rainbow Dash was giving her tragic backstory, and it was overshodowed by the farts making it hard to hear her back storey. It kind of sucked cause that moment did feel emotionally inpactfull. I do think it's funny when they carry things in their asses, like guns or candy.

I love that peanut joke so much. I love weird moments like that. The moments that stick out more to me though, are those random moments that just feel so real and awkward, and it tackles something you never really thought of before. Like in the Lemonaid episode when Princess Celistia is a huge fan of Raritie's shity streams for no reason and she has this silly hoodie on. And she talks about how she can still be fun even though she is old. And when she takes her hoodie off and gets asked why she did it and she goes "no reason", but you can tell she did it because she felt vulnerable.

I also love that moment when Pinkey Pie says, "I have a lot of free time but apperently not enough free time to stop myself from fucking everything up".

Why are the horse episodes so god damn long? They are always feature length movies for some reason. Underground episodes were usually only twenty minutes long. Being boring is one thing but being long and boring is what makes it truly horrid.

I think what we got of SU in this episode was very good, pretty much exactly what I want from the series, but if he is truly bored of SU then so be it. He did this stuff for a decade and a half. I watched Tamers for years so I also watched his MLP videos. I found several of them alright but I just don't like the shipping and drama stuff. What gets me is I really liked how he approached storytelling with Robotnik Has Had Enough because it mixes humour with story a lot better. I didn't like his storytelling in that one Flora school episode, but unfortunately it seems like that's exactly how he approaches storytelling in his MLP videos. It's too serious for too long and the comedy parts don't mesh as well and tend to be weaker. Characters monologue for too long and it's just too dramatic for me. If he doesn't want to do comedy, that's fine. Just don't mix in SU, which is entirely about comedy, then act surprised that some people aren't into drama shit

I'm probably being a schizo right now, but does it feel like Tamers doesn't even enjoy drawing the SU cast over the horses? You watch and see his OC horse daughter drawn with so much care and attention whenever she's on screen, then you got the SU cast looking like paper cutouts, like background elements comparatively. These are the stories he's passionate about because they're clearly his old recycled MLP fanfics and most of the characters in it now are or practically are his OCs now, so it follows he'd be more interested in that over SU, the shallow meme show. It's not for everyone. But I like it because it's crude, but also emotionally engaging. It reminds me of South Park in writing style and in aesthetics. The animation is crude yet charming and can be made quickly with a small team. It feels sincere, and it isn't afraid of offending people or appealing to critics. Tammers just does what he wants. There are so many comparisons to South Park. But ofcourse, Tammers is still uniquely doing his own thing.
