I had a terrible chili dog at my local bowling alley.

It didn't make me sick, exactly, but I knew eating any more than the first half wasn't going to get any better. It was basically brown mush on top of a very generic hot dog.

I remember back in the 90s, someone wrote a letter to Archie because they were concerned what the chili dogs were made out of, and ultimately they reasoned that they HAD to be made of chicken, because there was an issue where Sonic made chicken soup using leftover chili dogs, and it couldn't be called "chicken soup" unless there was chicken in it.

I can't say I recall any sentient/sapient chickens in any Sonic media, but I'm sure there's probably some background character in a comic somewhere.
