everything about thunderans looks to be humanlike, but keep in mind that these are animal people who have been sorta bred/engineered to create more and more humanlike forms, so beast-ier ones exist, so that means.. if it's human-shaped, it's still made of cat -stuff- if you follow me.
you can indeed see they have claws, but they still have humanlike fingertips, so it's kinda more like rodent claws, and the claws don't retract

Artificially inflated oil prices didn't help, but you could tell it was mostly still their faults. they would blame the shows for their bad toy sales.. guys you keep putting out redundant shit in different sizes, you're mixing old and new Tcats, you're fucking up the articulation and scale... what'd you think was gonna happen? see this is why people had uniform bodies in old shows, made the toys easier. and yeah, they had terrible distribution. people can't buy what isn't there.

what's amazing to me is they really nailed the magic in this show. it never feels... fruity and flashy. things don't grow and shrink with a bunch of superimposed sparkles that were chroma keyed in from someone stirring glitter in a glass behind a travelling matte. They grew and shrank in a way that feels like you'd want your magic sword and gauntlet to do. The gauntlet didn't just magically flex all the time either, it had joints. real proper infinity gauntlet. And to think, thundercats predates that! okay, not this version that has gems embedded in it, but still.
Not to mention that magic isn't something you just find lying around. Mumm-ra had to like, implode a star and sacrifice all the inhabited planets to get the material you make magic gems out of, and that felt earned. We're not just gonna trip over a new stone, this is it. the sages practice some kind of magic but it's more kinda martial arts chi shit so you can run fast, and make your bo longer (hmmm, another thing thundercats did first, even though yes I know, i know)

Nigga what? Avatar had just finished airing 3 years prior. Wakfu would air just 1 year later. Green Lantern: The Animated Series started airing the same year and both Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Sym-Bionic Titan were the year prior. Each and every one of those had a writer's room that shat all over TC2011's.

And that's just action cartoons. If you were willing to branch out in genres, you had a lot more. In no way was TC the best you could get.

Depending on how fat you are, this region could grow or shrink. The part below the bone physically splits, with firm connective tissue and muscles forming an actual very real crack that even a skinless person would still have. The tail would not come out from that part, but above it. Whether there would be some soft, creased flesh around the tail base, which you might want to wipe the sweat from sometimes, is up for debate and would vary by the individual.

See how the end of the spine is between the butt cheeks? You'd need to seriously rework the structure if you want a tail in the spot in the model sheet. Like in pic related monkeys, where the pelvis attaches to the spine far ahead of the butt, and the tail is free to emerge from the lower back. I think you're also thrown off because a lot of animals have totally differently-proportioned pelves. the inferior pubic rami are very subdued in humans, but others have a ton more going on down there. most animals have a lot narrower and longer pelves overall, we have these huge winglike ilia. it's throwin you off. Wilykit's tail should be at the end of her spine, simple as. Give or take an inch from where you want that to be.
