Well it's been three years but I've finally picked up the main Terriful storyline again. And I've got a lot to course correct. But rest assured, I've heard the criticism and more self contained episodic adventures are ahead.

Not only that but I'm committing to myself and to >(you) that before I release anything new, I need to go back and do a full rewrite of the original 12 issues of Terriful so they make sense. I see value in the overall storyline and I see potential to continue it so I am. I'm excited and I'm well aware I'll get memed on for "Ugh, Terriful again?" but I'm making this because I want to.

Been struggling with this question for many years now. I've tied so much of my self worth into the view that im such a burden on others by my sheer existence that any attempt of improving myself or just feeling happy in general became anathema. I felt i couldn't do the things I wanted on principle, that I'd be a horrible person by some ethereal spectre's standards if I even attempted it. I've built up this negative image of myself based on things my parents did when I was a kid or the many bad breakups ive had over the years. So whenever I tried to get back into doodling thumbnails for the webcomic my friend and I wanted to do since high school I just.....hated myself. I was doing something I loved, therefore I was doing something wrong. It's a fucked line of thinking I've only just recently managed to shake off thanks to my wonderful therapist and becoming more open with my close friends. I realized I spent so much time with this weight on my mind, I'd forgotten that setting it down for a second and catching my breath was even an option. Still trying to get back into the swing of things but it still difficult at times, anyone have tips to help scrub off the rust and get back into a groove?

the new week is starting now. you will draw comics. or else.

here's my ocs. left is rhodonite (originally a steven universe oc) and zack (originally a happy tree friends oc). the bottom left is their outfit designs and their oldest recent design. i plan to make the outfits a bit better soon.
thought about making a webcomic about pic rel. they're two young adults who are in a bounty hunting space force. kind of like military, but mainly hunting in groups or solo. both of them are polar opposites and have different ideals (omg so fucking refreshing amirite?) on how things should be done. rhodonite is a goofball but too naive and believes the answer to all is peace whereas zack is an edgelord and believes everything should be handled with force and control. they slowly learn to get along and have others join their group (former people who had bounties on them or random citizens) and as time progresses, a heated rivalry becomes respect for each other and slowly into romance. they play off of each other's personalities
