its rick and morty, its not exactly hard to look bad.
the average episode is fucking god awful so it makes sense that the bad episodes are beyond boring and bad

Rick and Morty is unironically a great show. Sometimes I wonder if the people who say it's bad even know what's going on in the episodes or the continuity.

The writing can get unbearably smug and full of itself, often when the stuff they're acting all high-and-mighty about isn't even all that impressive.
