/co/ memories/reminiscing thread
This thread is for remembering times when you had fun using /co/, I’ll start:
/co/ when Primal was airing was amazing, doesn’t matter what season you’re talking about, as it was airing the hype was real and the discussions were amazing.

I haven't been here for long, but I've had fun with the toonami threads and watching it along with everyone, half of the reason why I watch the block, going through Common Side Effects with /co/ was nice too

Also it technically wasn't on /co/, but going through the chicken little fanfic was one of the best things I've been a part of

On the subject of Genndy, /co/ when Samurai Jack season 5 was airing was a ton of fun. There was so much hype. I loved all the discussion and memes it produced. Good times.

The Saturday morning blocks thread was the most fun I have ever had.
I had actual conversations for once about shows I knew, and I was taught so much by others.
I was overstimulated with happiness the whole day afterwards.
This site isn't bad if anons actually talk instead of hurling insults and derailing threads.

To me the high point of the whole experience was watching "Terror Under the Blood Moon" with /co/. Just 22 solid minutes of one holy shit moment after another, the threads were wild. We knew the giant spider was coming and we STILL lost our shit when it appeared.

When Toonami was first brought back for April Fools. Everyone was expecting The Room, and I remember all the excited threads telling people to turn the channel on.

In early 2014 /co/ had awards threads for people to vote on best-of-the-year comics and cartoons (OP only hosted for three years). People didn't really fight with each other or troll with engagement bait, it was people sincerely introducing things to others. One night an anon hosted a stream of Ernest & Celestine, ripped from a French blu-ray with the original language track. It's a charming movie, and someone had made english fan subs for it. They did a pretty good job translating, except for exactly one moment where a character started saying FUCK out of nowhere. It took everybody off guard and then the movie continued as a G-rated adventure. I laughed my ass off. To this day it's the only time I've watched the movie, because I want to keep my memories of it.

I don't think that even work nowadays considering how empty the cartoon scene is.

My memory has gone to shit. I don't remember good times, I just know I'm here forever.

Seeing everyone lose their shit over Lost Light #23-25 and the Unicron finale miniseries was fucking hilarious, because it’s clear they weren’t expecting to end for a little while longer, and everyone roasting the storylines.

It's weird being there for the first season of Rick and Morty and people liking it

Hopped on the Amphibia hype train around April of 2021, and watching the episodes live on twitch with anons are easily some of my favorite memories I've ever made on the internet. I have the very final stretch of S2 and all of S3 twitch live reactions recorded on my computer. It was a really exciting time, and I looked forward to it every Friday night.
