They're comic strips, anon. Each story is a page long, and many of those are from the ol script pile. More were planned, but wagie bucks only go so far, and the whims and wishes of artists often contradict things like deadlines and schedules.

Still, I'm very happy with how things have come along. Everyone on the art team did a fantastic job and I can't wait for everyone to see what they've cooked up.

I think Diving Belle should be like a supernatural mercenary. She takes a more pragmatic and brutal approach to solving supernatural problems than Billie and also doesn't mind stealing magic artifacts if she believes she can use them better than her owners. She looks down on Billie as a lowly hick fit only to bow down to her.

An alien! Same species as the Blang twins.
While sketching her I thought of her being a sort of minor antagonist for them to deal with; a bounty hunter sent to kill one of them (most likely Tennoc).
The demon/succubus-esque elements were on purpose, since she's meant to have a bit of an alluring, yet dangerous aura, femme fatale style.

Oh, definitely both of those. Every little thing has to turn into a competition after all.
Though I think the two are still somewhat protective of each other, so as soon as any real harm is being done they would probably help each other out - and complain the entire time while doing it. With the bounty huntress in particular I can imagine Quaslan seeing through her right away while Tennoc is too kind for his own good and welcomes her with open arms while she's still using her sweet and innocent guise. Of course once that illusion breaks he has to get bailed out with a lot of "I told you so!"s.

I wouldn't say that, personally. His attitude can be described as "chill", but people are rarely at ease with him around since he's far from a gentle giant. In fact, being so much stronger than most people naturally has kind of desensitized him to suffering of "weaker" ones, which is why I imagine that Diego would hate his guts.

If you want appalachian apparitions, can't go wrong with the Fatwoods Monster and old Mothman, but everybody knows them. A more unknown encounter (I believe) are the Hopkinsville Goblins, I think they could be a good addition to the setting as some passive creatures that can help Hill Billie, they're just so goofy looking I love them.

Alright finally did a Bea concept, kind of went with vibe of clown shit. Idea came from the mime v jesters. So what if the world was like ours but one difference is it runs on "tune" force hehe get it.. So think characters like my evil Jester gal have the most as she has a massive audience and is multi talented so can rake in the faith and eyes of others. While someone like bea might be the inverse innately has it but is so lame she can't use it.

Think most of the world is the same, but some areas are vastly different and effected but "tune"

I'm still in the process of trying to form an outline of the story before I can start turning that into a script. One of the issues I'm running into it being able to share the current notes since pastebin is throwing a fit over it containing flagged words and not telling me which ones their speech police thinks are bad.

I'm trying to think of how the story should start. Like from who's perspective.

The set up is Jack's football team is visiting Arthur's city. You know, classic misunderstanding when two heroes first meet so they must fight.

I've been trying to figure out why Crackdown would go after Brad after busting up the heist and I think I have something.

When the heist goes south and Brad realizes CD isn't someone he can beat before the cops arrive, he grabs part of whatever the shipment was before scattering.
Whatever Frank's crew was trying to lift would need to be something really dangerous, like a chemical, poison, or disease of some sort. Something with the potential for mass casualties so CD can't overlook Brad pinching so much as a vile of it.

Might give me an opportunity for a better resolution to the fight than the cops arriving if Jack becomes aware of what Brad has and then has to work with CD to keep it from breaking and infecting/poisoning the crowd.

With this whole vibe, I can totally see the story featuring an absolutely evil creature—one that breaks the mold of typical "cryptid" beings and leans more into disturbing than just scary.
I know it's a bit extreme for a /coc/ story, but I was thinking of someone like Judge Holden from Blood Meridian (minus the child rape)—a truly terrifying and unsettling "person" who would make both Billie and the city girl genuinely afraid.
not excatly him but like a man who lives in the town with them and looked normal and all until the girls finds an old pic of him in the civil war and his look didn't change or something like this.
