Its so expensive to live and operate in california that everyones leaving.They've had a stranglehold on all things entertainment for far too long, and its good to see their monopoly get toppled.

The thing is your not going to get eastward migration at least in the long term.
All it takes is one show from a major studio to copy the indie style of animators scattered across the globe under a single project head, and set up their output to be piped to the Korean animation farms like the current stuff is and they will never look back.
Having one English speaker (so the suits have easy access) directing a bunch of guys who will work for pesos or BR, or Rupiah, on the dollar while not having to rent out and studio space is fucking corpo crack.
Like I said it won't happen at first but once the consolidation in California is broken, with the indie method making its way back into the industry's domain via Netflix and amazon its only a matter of time.
