pathetic attempt to keep rights without using Spiderman, some cool action scenes, overall dull and lame. Also wasted carnage so in the age of superhero slop scratching the bottom of the barrel we will never get Maximum Carnage brawl with spidey/venom/carnage. For that I hate these movies, but the scene in the first one where venom slaughters swat agents is dope.

The time frame only applies to a Spider-Man movie every so and so years, which the MCU Spider-Man counts as anyway so Venom was never about rights. It was about Sony trying to cash in on the capeshit trend thinking they could make their own MCU with just Spider-Man characters.
