It's weird because the unpopular pet character is obviously supposed to be Gangle, but she avoided all the negative aspects of being Gooseworx's self-insert thanks to Zooble's existence. Gangle and Pomni avoided the Mary Sue tropes because they went to Zooble. The worst part is that they recently revealed the characters' ages, and Zooble doesn't act like a 22-year-old at all. If anything, she felt like the second oldest of the group.

Everyone else reflects their respective ages. Maybe one can argue Kinger could've been older and Jax younger, but you could never have predicted Zooble was the second youngest based on her screentime.

Bubbles, Gangle, Zooble, and Pomni are all Gooseworx's self-inserts and mouthpieces to an extent. And the males to a lesser degree, because that's how writing works. It's just that Gooseworx forgot or cannot come up with real flaws for Zooble. That's why Zooble is the character that feels the most like a mouthpiece.

Why is it Kinger always gets put into the adult roles like a teacher?

He's canonically the oldest character. Officially confirmed to be a middle-aged man. It's just that being so long in the circus has affected his mental health so much.

Truth

Zooble is the most boring character in TADC, and the latest episode was the worst example of it.

This show really suffers from non subtle dialogue. Everything is spelled out and sudden. Like when Jax started talking about Gangle not being happy.

Zooble just fucking sucks. Take away the statements about being trans, take away anything about being a writer self-insert, you're still left with a boring prop of a character.
