Coyote vs Tom is weird because I feel like there's a lot of stuff missing, but I don't feel like we were robbed or it was a waste of a bracket winner. I can even agree with giving the verdict to Wile after giving it some thought.
I'm not sure how to put my thoughts. The fight was genuinely funny and captured the aura of their source material but I feel like they sacrificed that for an actual brawl. I'm not even one of those people who're mad we didn't get Green Lantern vs Erlang Shen. I'm just perplexed we didn't get any of the basics like Tom's arsenal of Magic or more ACME products like Anvils. I dunno

I think the fight was alright but Luis said on twitter that his goal for it was to make it feel like an authentic Tom and Jerry/Road Runner short. In that regard I think it did a decent job but it's at the trade off of it not being a Scooby vs Courage style spectacle that uses a lot of their arsenal like a more typical DB animation. I don't think it's a bad direction but it would disappoint people going in expecting the latter.
