It was briefly talked about last thread but I think it's pretty much that the fight went for the direction of authentically emulating Tom & Jerry and Road Runner shorts, Luis said that was his goal with the animation, as opposed to being more of a traditional fight that used their established arsenals like Scooby vs Courage leaned towards. I liked it but I can see why that would disappoint people. I think people are seriously over-exaggerating how dumb the verdict is though, some of the points are silly but I think the overall reasoning is fine and pretty expected.

I'm not gonna extensively defend this but the logic is really just "Tiny Toons could survive the universe + animator's world being compressed and all toons can pretty much survive the same things, especially in the context of the recent shows that treat tooniness as an actual ability". I think they phrased it in a dumb way but it's hardly that cataclysmically egregious, and I think they were being very generous to Tom giving him xianxia gacha stuff in the first place.
