TADC is mostly about the inter-character drama of being stuck in the Circus, hence all the "shipping bait". Murder Drones is mostly about advancing what's going on and figuring out what's happening, there's only one relationship really teased and that's the romance between Uzi and N. There's no "will they won't they' with the other characters, like N and V. Because they only had a past relationship, and their dynamic is no longer romantic.
