As for your short, it is lovely. Animation like that would often be produced by artists who wanted to get away from soviet politics, and try making art for art's sake. The music is indeed nice, even if sometimes not fitting what's happening. They really tried doing something new and surprising with those early synthesizers. Also the owl was a dumbass for "saving for later".
