>people have the power to make any DC movie they want now
>they use it to make the characters quip like they're in Marvel movies

I'm starting to get the impression that the reason MCU started failing had nothing to do with people being tired of Marvel humor. People will never get tired of Marvel humor.

That's what happens when projects are controlled by committee, instead of just trusting an artist to make art.

Exactly this.
Once a project goes from being handled creatively by one person with a vision to a bunch of people that just want profit and don't give a fuck about the character, it's a wrap.

So you're saying there was a time when one person with a vision was making Marvel movies? When did it stop?

As soon as one of them was successful, a room of executives moved in to see how they could pad their own resume on the next film.

I see this conversation is a waste of time, you don't even know what you're talking about if you're incapable of naming a movie that succeeded and have to vaguely gesture at "one of them."

I'm trying to complain how these AI people are content to keep making "MCU but I'm the one making it" and people are just trotting out the same tired bot arguments I've seen a million times for years before AI was even a thing and back when the MCU movies were still raking in the money. I find it embarrassing that people watch the exact same shit they've been watching for years and claim it's somehow good now just because Disney isn't making it.
I know it won't be well received on 4chan but since this thread is a lost cause anyway, I'm just gonna say it. The real reason these people like AI is because they can make their comic book movies except without all the pesky black people in them. Just nonstop white people as far as the eye can see. They're fine with the quipfest style humor, they just want it to come from white people. Though the ironic thing is it's AI. These white people do not exist in real life. They are a fantasy, and they will never be more than that.

I’m fine with fantasy and white people. I’m also fine with modern Hollywood collapsing, and publishing in the bargain.

I am so sick of people trying to emulate the old Reeves Superman. That version absolutely SUCKED.
The actor was super phony, bringing no believable human quality to the character other than generic smiling boyscout.
Terrible costume. The only time they got the costume right was Man of Steel, when it didn't look like some cheap halloween costume with a plastic logo. The outfit is everything.
Superman had absolutely no build whatsoever. For the man of steel, most casual gym goers mog him.
Terrible acting from the entire cast. Somehow everyone acts like a goddamn cartoon caricature, and it's considered quaint, but the Joel Shoemacher Batman films did the same thing, and were roasted for it.
The action was fucking horrible. Theirs Vegas shows that have better wire work than in the older Superman movies. It's always Superman spinning around weightlessly on an obvious backdrop.
People hated Superman Returns, and yet it hit all the beats of what people loved about the Reeves movies.

you're never going to see a "good" AI movie because the only people interested in AI are vacuous dipshits

The Superman you're talking about is named "Reeve." Reeves is either the director of The Batman, or John Constantine, depending on who you ask.

The MCU hasn't changed as much as people think, people just were with the gimmick more. It was just a fad.

If they slightly course correct people will go back to pretending they like the MCU again. People are fickle.

Or, you know, an entirely different guy that played Superman on TV.
