The movie was really bad and literally forced BOM to rush the ending. Worse was we got news and even demo animations from cartoon network/adult swim who were thinking of picking it up till the movie happened.
Everyone wanted to see SP finally get the animation it deserved from the start. Instead we got some shitty AU but the animation/style/colours/etc and was great. Which makes this even worse.
The really shitty part is because this bomb'd badly and people hated it. This basically kills seconds/lost at sea ever getting the chance to be animated. Which really stings because seconds would make for a really fun animated series. That most likely would likely gain a bunch of fans/views. Due to not many people knowing the dude behind scott pilgay did indeed write a few other comics. That unironically is better written with better art and not rushed then scott pilgay.
