What will be the legacy of this character?

A parody talk show portraying him as a washed-up has-been and many failed attempts to reboot him as a serious superhero again.

Space Ghost Coast to Coast is a funny show, and it was culturally relevant. That said, the current run of Space Ghost in Dynamite Comics, by David Pepose and Jonathan Lau, is very good and worth the read.

Me as a zoomer I tried watching it but I barely know any celebs from that time, and most jokes are kind of focused on their time.

No? Most of the jokes are absurdist comedy, you're talking about Family Guy.

>First original CN show
>Directly led to Cartoon Cartoons and Adult Swim
>Inspired James Rolfe to make the Angry Video Game Nerd, in turn inspiring an entire genre of content creation
>People genuinely like the serious takes on his character, enough that multiple comic books have come out starring him

His legacy will outlast all of us, just like his voice actor. Rest in Power, George Lowe. You're a true Space Ghost now.

The 2000s mini was well received, I assume the Future Quest stuff did okay because they did a bunch of it, and wasn't the #1 of the recent Boom run the most preordered comic that month or something?

A flash in the pan of creativity not leashed by focus groups. The only people who ever got close to the creativity of the C2C team were the Wam City folks, and they were barely tolerated apparently.

It hurts in the sense that I know he wasn't all that old my mom is roughly his age and while she's not exactly as spry as she used to be she can still do just about anything and doesn't sound like death warmed over. Dude fell the fuck apart

Coast to Coast. Anything serious with him these days can't be taken seriously because C2C just overshadows anything related to the character and franchise.
