The current Family Guy writers are the most insecure faggots ever. That's why they have to spell out and explain every joke now because they have absolutely no confidence in their writing

That was the original plan for season 4 after Trump won but they decided against it and focused more on #metoo because Harvey Weinstein told the creator he was a fan of BoJack.

And Family Guy is the most vocally liberal cartoon still airing and had an entire episode where Peter beat up Trump while he was literally painted orange. I really don't understand why you politically obsessed faggots give Family Guy a pass.

I'm going to be as real as fuck with you right now;
Harvey Weinstein ruined Bojack Horseman.
There was no other reaction that could possibly have come out of *that* woman finding out that harvey fuckin weinstein was comforting himself with her show
he jacked off on her legacy, something that he was wont to do with the legacies of women, and ruined our show

Fox has no creative control over Family Guy. They got a similar deal that The Simpsons has. So that cringe shit was entirely the writing staff's fault

Get the fuck over it you faggots, it's a friendly jab. H Jon Benjamin voices Bob in every joke each time. They even reference them being "equal, or more popular than us" in another episode. Absolute fucking babies.

Anon, Family Guy has multiple episodes where the characters practically stare you in the face and say "Democrats are smart, Republicans are dumb". It was literally a joke in the late 00s to boil Family Guy down to that exact line. You guys don't just give it a pass, you come up with bizarre cope like this when it's put forward.

bojack is beloved and nobody likes family guy so /co/ does the opposite
just classic contrarian retardation like pretending to be christian

Not even gonna get into how autistic it is to take rival TV shows making fun of each other seriously. Just thinking about for the past several years there has been this exhausting abundance of insecurity accusations for a long time, which is weird because it's a very mild, almost inconsequential insult. Like a writing team can be insecure but still be good and just not really realize it. Like, where does this come from? Why do people go for insecure, or specific subgenres of insecurity, when it never really seems to hurt anyone's feelings? Is it because you can't prove nor disprove it, so it shuts down any potential of a comeback?

More than that, comprehensively destroyed. Shat upon would imply it was just a well landed insult, it was more of a complete rugpull of Bojack's entire foundation.

They didn't even say anything. The joke was Peter didn't know anything about the show except that it was about a talking horse.
Ngl, the show telling me I had to choose between abortion or human women screwing dogs to create FMA chimera monsters was a masterful and witty stroke.

It’s one of those go-to insults people have used for decades, that they never fully thought through to begin with. It makes sense to call out when someone is being incompetent or awful out of panic, but you see people use it in contexts similar to ‘oh you’re just applying to this job because you’re insecure about your finances!’ and shit, like that can’t be a sensible reason to do something. ‘Oh yeah he just plays guitar because he’s insecure about his looks’, ‘oh yeah she dressed flirtatiously because she’s insecure about her sexuality’, ‘oh you’re just jealous I’m flirting with another man because you’re insecure about our relationship’, like what the fuck this is a toxic ideation that even poisons the person who uses it, get it out of your head so you won’t have to feel denial or guilt at having concerns that make you act in your life. Another popular toxic ideation is ‘they’re just doing it for attention (the belief people should not desire to be seen or work to earn esteem in society)’
