I personally love video games and video game episodes and I personally understand why *I* don't like it, not why Trey doesn't like it.
It's a very boring plot that could have been done in 5 minute tops or 2 minutes at best to move on with the plot I mean to move onto a better plot. Showing off how grindy MMOs are while accurate is also natively boring and the episode should have continued after Cartman said "Now we can play the game", there's so many stories to tell in WoW and Trey & Matt simply never gave a shit about video games to begin with, let alone MMOs and RPGs.
They basically got stuck on lvl 1 grinding instead of looking what the rest of the world of warcraft has to offer in terms of story material and locations.
Compared to LOTR it really wasn't a fun episode, it's like taking just 1 plot of LOTR that's naturally boring such as The Hobbit where they waste 40 minutes with the prologue stretched out to the entire movie/episode. I'm having issues with LOTR 1 as an example cause every plot in it is goddamn great and could make for entire movies since the movie itself had to trim down on a lot of content like Tom Bombadil and the cemetery Frodo has to go through, even the dialogue scenes are memorable.
