stan lee wrote the dialogue but he would have had to write around the art that ditko already made and annotated
like a lot of things to come out of the marvel method, its never really easy to hash out who did what

I dunno, thinking that a god is just a sufficiently advanced alien or a wizard or something is still denying that it exists as a god. I'd count that.

The noncomformist view of i hate niggers for some reason doesnt interest people or make your hero seem very heroic anymore. Not sure why

This always been the same, hasn't it. The with us or against us mentality, the "fighting" for a cause just because you're bored, minorities scorning you while demanding you do their bidding, and "activists" using shaming.

Geez Peter was so lamer.
If you don’t stand for anything then you stand for nothing.
Seeing these panels make me ashamed to be a Spider-Man fan. He’s just some status quo tee-tower.
We need a real hero!

Yeah kinda. Modern left is largely inspired by Angela Davis and other figures from the 60s >>149149837

I might do that eventually but I've just been reading an issue every couple of days starting from amazing fantasy 15 or whatever. I haven't gotten that far yet but it's already really obvious why Spider-man got so popular and it's also really obvious why modern ASM sucks so much. Also I really, really like Ditko's art. The rendering and posing obviously isn't the best but the character designs and faces are all really distinct.
>>149150332
Yeah, Ditko's pretty cool... Very DISTINCT artist and the marvel method totally helps him bring a very distinct attitude to the comic that no one else could have.

The O'Neil run was pretty meh but then it picked up in a big way with Stern. >>149150730
He knew who his enemies were though. Rand's heroes were fake, her villains were all too real.

Neither of them are racist or homophobic. Safe edgy unironically.
Deadpool can kill infinity marvel universes but he'd never ever say the soft n
