>This year, the biggest family films include A Minecraft Movie and live-action CGI remakes of Lilo & Stitch and How to Train Your Dragon. But the crashing and burning of Elio suggests that it's much more challenging for films to succeed if they aren't sequels, prequels, remakes, adaptations of video games, or some unholy combination of the above. When it comes to younger viewers, it seems, it's lack of familiarity that breeds contempt.

Kids today don't care about films. They prefer Tik-Tok and Skibidi Toilet. It doesn't have anything to do with muh sequels and muh brands.

>back in 2004, we found the average attention span on any screen to be two and a half minutes on average

Has Pixar tried not making a film with a protagonist that doesn't look exactly tge same as the last?

I had contempt toward Elio, but it's just because I didn't like looking at him. Something uncomfortable about how he looks, and I don't mean his skintone.

It's impossible that the trailer of the movie was boring and the movie itself sucked. No, it must be either because everyone is an NPC who only want reboots, or racist.

Make them interesting, the trailers have to really make kids want to watch it. If you want to be especially experimental do it with a low budget. The rule above anything else is that the movie cannot look uninteresting, quality is second to that if you want to make money.

Illumination get shat on a lot but they make films that get kids hyped up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zXiaDhAEwY

Being passive is not enough for me. The last ten years and more have shown that if we aren't proactive in fighting what we don't like then it will stick around and cause more damage like a desease.

Anon we have the normies on our sides now.
Now yes they make stupid decisions like going to see the live action Lilo and Stich, but now they avoid woke nonsense 99 percent of the time now.
