Timing was also on their side. I don't know how exactly, but I feel like the pandemic probably worked in their favor. BCG is a relatively easy TV cartoon to make--Chris has even admitted to it being designed that way--so they already had a solid pipeline in place while most other animated productions likely had a tougher time trying to adapt.
I'm sure its streaming numbers also went up around that same time since it'd already been airing for two years and had a decent amount of episodes in its library.
