This is extremely lame and gay. Like Gooseworxs.
My theory is that Jax was put into the circus after suffering a severe allergic reaction to corn. I have a pretty bad allergy to peanuts and if I saw a random, opened bag of peanuts right next to me and probably jolt away from it too.

Allergies can get way worse over time, and it depends on the type of exposure when it comes to allergies (oral vs. skin contact).
