Just marathoned this whole show. It was really good. Possibly the best Marvel cartoon after XMen?
Shame it got canceled, but it did a lot in its two seasons.
>>149177021 (OP)This show does such a great job lovingly showcasing and adapting not just all the heroes in its run but also the villains of the Marvel Universe even when they only had a brief or sporadic appearance.
>>149177021 (OP)I consider this show to share continuity with Spectacular because it just makes sense
>>149177021 (OP)Fantastic show. Best Carol outfit, too.
>>149177650But the Tummy and Back windows!
>>149177473it's a shame this is probably one of the last times the Wrecking Crew was treated as any level of threat. Though the recent Moon Knight comics at least gives Wrecker some spotlight.
>>149177149It also improved on some comic book arcs that were shit originally.
>>149178089you can just say any of the arcs based on Bendis, speaking of I distinctly remember when the ninja raised his sword to the police officer of the same name in the episode I was yelling at the ninja to kill him, laughed afterwards over it.
>>149177021 (OP)You know how retarded Disney is. It's not MCU enough which is why they purposely screw with this show so they can replace it with their mediocre cash-in show called "Avengers Assemble"
>>149177021 (OP)It had my favorite imitation of Hank and Janet
>>149177021 (OP)AA is better, this shit is just MCU-lite
>>149179303You have them the wrong way round, anon.
>>149177021 (OP)Wish we had gotten that Annihilation plot they teased, but it would have been focused on Carol if they had done it.
I kinda hated how they switched Iron Man armor for synergy's sake.
However, using the female Whiplash was absolutely based, even if she was barely in. And Crimson Dynamo was sick.
This show really did the villains good.
>>149179579It's the pre-Captain Marvel Carol, so it wouldn't have been much of an issue. I remember like Miss Marvel before they changed her and gave her to Fraction's dangerhair wife (which is the version everybody knows thanks to MCU and the like)
>>149179678What are the best classic Carol books. Does her OG run holds well?
>>149179713I'll be honest with you, I've only read the 2000s Brian Reed book. It was okay, Carol was better when she was another flying brick with issues and not "MOST IMPORTANT GIRL POWER CHARACTER EVER" Marvel's trying to make her these days.
