Why were there so many soulless rebrands around 2009/2010?
Nickelodeon getting rid of the splat, CN launching CNReal and rebranding in 2010, Disney rebranding in 2010, Toon Disney and Jetix rebranding to DisneyXD. All of them gravitated towards very corporate and minimalist designs.

100% of the time it's out of touch executives

Because TV executives are actual out-of-touch retards and every "correct" move they've ever made was a pure fluke.

Aren't most of the shows aired during this now lost media because truly nobody gave a fuck?

The Nick rebrand in particular is what baffles me the most. It's the epitome of corporate slop. It's like the execs forgot that they were running a kids network.

Yeah. Also, Out of Jimmy's head, even though it came out 2 years earlier, only has half of its episodes available in English.

at least Disney XD had great shows back then. CN Real had no excuse to exist

They said the old Nick logo wouldn't look right on a business card IIRC
