>>149182783
If you're not local it can be pretty pricey. I'm going next year with my wife and our fixed costs (on-site at a midrange resort and tickets) is $4118 before any discounts or deals though realistically it's not difficult to shave hundreds off your bill through various promotions if you know where to look.

Here's a question for you /co/?
Disney probably won't make a new park in within the next 5 to 10 years since they focused on expanding the existing parks.
But lets say they're ready by the 2030s, what should be the theme of the new park?

It's a fraction of the price as long as you choose the cheapest voyages in the cheapest cabins, but the cheapest voyages requires a separate return trip from London.

>>149184293
It's not that hard to work around crowds as long as you keep in mind holidays and school sessions. January after the New Years, February after Valentines, May before Memorial Day and schools start letting out, late August and early September excluding Labor Day weekend, and the first half of December are usually slow for that reason. Though May-September you're pretty much guaranteed to deal with 90+ degree temps.

I went to SeaWorld two weeks ago. Shit’s fucked with skeleton crew staffing, price gouging food and lame new coasters riddling the landscape but the old coasters are still amazing and they seem to be doing good work on animal rehab side of things despite it not being focused on as much anymore.

A lot of formal animal themed stuff is now basically total skeleton crews outside of the ones which always had significant emphasis on rescue and research like Gatorland.
Kinda hard to survive all the controversy after everyone learned how a lot of these places actually work. Even zoos have taken a massive hit

I went last year when I was forced to go down to Florida for two weeks against my will and had little else to do in that area but hit the parks. It was a nice stroll down memory lane since I hadn't been there in a while and I got to ride Soarin like 12 times because everyone was in line for the new Guardians of the Galaxy thing but I can't imagine going there all the time like some people did.

The truth of the matter is that the overwhelmingly vast majority of people don't go all the time and the vast majority of the people who are there all the time are locals with passes. Even the most expensive local resident pass pays for itself after nine visits, the cheapest after 4 visits.

Probably at least once in a lifetime on average.
There was a Disney cast member who used to post AMAs.
The guy left Disney because it turned into shit. And it must be truth because a boomer friend of my father is retiring rather disappointed at how shit the people and the management has become.

A minimum wage worker slinging popcorn does not "leave Disney", it's just a job they quit. Stop trying to make it sound like he was some integral part of the company and that it was a difficult decision.
Anonymous No.149191840 [Report]
>>149191760
When your job is shit, leaving your job for another is easy, no matter how much you've been there. But that guy was posting for years, and the boomer is leaving after at least 15 years in the company.
If Disney management "just found" those "minimum wage" people and make stuff work, expect a drop in quality. If you consider the high or higher prices, then expect, for now, some happy investors.
