>>149203867>was something weird going on with the rights IIRCThe only rights problem was the "Clark Kent is Young Superboy" is a different character than "Superman/Clark Kent is adult Superman" character legal decision that the court's made, which decided that DC Comics did own the rights to Superman from their original pay off to both Siegel and Shuster, but that Superboy was a different character.
It's why you get things like Marv Wolfman being credited with "Dick Grayson as Nightwing" as a character even though other people created "Dick Grayson/Dick Grayson is Robin, etc. etc."
Anyways, the issue with the rights to Superboy are pretty much all cleared up and have been since about 2011, so not sure how that impacts the LoSH cartoon and I'm not aware nor see anything else?
>>149203916You are right that if it was streamed and available more readily, that more people would be aware of it and perhaps it would become more popular.
Look at the shitty cable TV shows, like SUITS, that end up on Netflix and all of sudden become hugely and insanely popular. I doubt any cartoon will ever be that, but at least people would be aware that it exists, in the same was that the DCAU shows are well-known today because of being incessantly on Netflix until HBO Max came along.
