For whatever reason, they only use the word father or mother to refer to blood (or with robots). They keep using the word family like when Gosalyn said that Drake "isn't her family" when father would have been more appropriate. This is probably some stupid thing against the nuclear family. I think that they handled the boy's father issue poorly.

It's very awkward that by far the most logical answer at this point is that it's just Donald. Who else is there that's the right age and even remotely within temporal and physical range to Della? We'd have seen him by now, right?

The one thing I was thinking:
People go on there has to be a father, but we established that clones can be made with dna and then hatched
What if there is none and they are just clones of Della, and that's why there are three the way there's Webby and two other triplets?
