I'm not too into this pairing, but it reminds me of an AU I was thinking of several years ago.
In it, Peter had married Gwen instead and they had a daughter who had the Carnage symbiote. There was also a younger Miguel in the story, Batman Beyond style, and there would be some tension between the two of them.

The new USM gave me a lot of the stuff I wanted out of that AU, like Peter having a steady marriage and children, but I'd like to revisit the concept someday.
