And while they were all "animal people" there was a nice range in origins, from "fell in mutagen" and "I'm an actual alien" to "my mom fucked a god." I liked it.
I really doubt ten years down the road there's going to be people celebrating lesbian turtle comics like people my age did the 80s-90s shit, you can't pander to the niche and also have mass appeal
