Wha.......what the actual FUCK are the writers thinking? As someone who owned a fish tank for almost a decade of my life, I am absolutely disgusted on the sheer stupidity of this movie. Nobody would be retarded enough to put a sea star in a tank with a bunch of fake clams. Does the dentist want Peach to die? And oh my fucking god, that dentist must be suffering from Alzheimer's disease if he thinks the pufferfish won't accidentally puncture the other fish with his spines. The yellow tang is the most popular tank fish, and a cleaner shrimp would be symbiotically beneficial to the other fish, but they are pretty to the pufferfish!

Yes, the dentist is written to be an irresponsible fish owner. He doesn't do any research into caring for the fish he "saves", he just collects them as trophies from his diving trips to use as a background for his office. This is because he is meant to be the villain of the movie.
