Still this or cancellation of all future contents is probably the most likely outcome.
If they really do a movie to tie up togheter everything it will probably be completely shit just like the last 4 seasons.
They have too much stuff to explain and show since they wasted 4 seasons doing nothing just because they wanted to bet on getting three more seasons.
I don't even have faith that they would improve Rayla design since the show is irredeemably poxed by the woke writers.
Probably they will have Callum apologize once again to Rayla and waste at least twenty minutes of the film to get Soren and Corvus togheter

I just wish it was more openly acknowledged that the INTERSPECIES LESBIAN QUEENS B-Plot was absolute cancer. Boring to watch AND it utterly and completely undermined a big part of what made the main characters' romance so good. If the fucking ruler of the elves can go grab the head of the human army and go "we're getting married!" then I guess Rayla and Callum aren't very special for THEIR relationship. It's not homophobic to say "that particular gay romance ruined the show."

In S3 they had an excuse to not show it, but in S4 they had all the time in the world, and they spend it on bullshit. Not even on exposition, that came from a lore-dump from Zubi-doo.

The way the show treats Dark Magic still makes no damn sense.
They constantly have people say how horrible and bad it is, yet the show also constantly showing it used for good and noble purposes, like saving a kingdom from famine or healing a crippling injury.

The thing with Dark Magic is that the writers clearly wanted it to be incredibly useful but have tons of bad second order consequences that couldn’t possibly justify its practice. The problem is, they don’t make those consequences unimaginably wicked enough or wide-spread enough to truly elicit the emotional gut punch they were hoping for. I mean for crying out loud, forget the fact that Dark Magic doesn’t cause anymore upheaval than something like farming would, how about the fact that there only TWO practicing Dark Mages in existence. You couldn’t possibly suggest let alone try and convict all of humanity for the excess use of Dark Magic (like the Xadians do) if there’s only two assholes on the planet actually using the stuff. Holy shit.

I don't see a way to make the Amaya-Janai romance work, unless it's totally in secret, without torpedoing what Rayla-Callum had going for them. Either Rayla and Callum's romance is daring and something only the younger generation would do, or it's not. And if it's not, then their romance is a bit shite.
