That was the point. It's also a joke about someone being unable to break a bad habit despite the obvious negative effects. And it happens to be the most popular strip, to the point that everyone is sick of it.

While condemning your attitude, I was agreeing with you in a subtle way. You totally missed it.

Some of them actually have small visual jokes in other panels and not just le funny face.
Like here in panel 1, the guys look funnily retarded. Panels 2 is funny on its own with dwarf's line and other's expressions.
Panel 3 is similar and you can see the elf's forehead subtly growing

I've been looking for this one NSFW webcomic where only one guy still had all five of his senses. It was a black and white webcomic where, due to a sickness (I think), people were being born with fewer and fewer senses (sight becoming the rarest). Thus, humanity regressed to the point where many were no different from apes. However, it was also possible for people to be born with the combined senses of their parents, which is where the main character comes in, having all five. He finds a woman with only her sense of taste, which leads him to find a tribe of folks with two or more senses. He then meets the Chieftess, who has all but sight. I wish to continue reading; however, the name is lost to me.

I took a deeper look and it's actually much less than that. Patreon implemented free members at some point so that inflates the number. The about page shows that that actual number of paid members is 81. The only monetized tier available is $3/month so that amounts to $243 before taxes, fees, and Patreon's cut so the actual amount is much less.

I suppose Twitter and other social media platforms might pay him but actual numbers are much harder to find with those though it's known that the high earners have their own personalized rate. Some searching indicates it might be the same bait and switch situation other platforms deploy where only a small number of people get insane numbers and the majority get fractions of a penny.

Well unsounded is winding down its epilogue, so soon I'll be down to only one regularly followed webcomic, and a couple others I check now and then.

I used to follow so many, but they either ended or became shitty and I lost interest, or in one particular case the artist became physically unable to draw any more, and that was very sad. I miss Star Slip by Kris straub. That was a fun gag strip that turned into a serious, heart-felt sci-fi story. At least he managed to end it on a good note, not a lot of comic authors get to that point or have the determination to end things while they're ahead. I could never get into Kris's other strip, Broodhollow, it meandered around and got really abstract and it never clicked with me.

One other series I remember is Stand Still, Stay Silent, a post-apocalyptic horror comic set in Scandinavia. It went on a hiatus or something, didn't update for a while, and I never got back into it. Oh, and I used to read Paranatural, until the interminable Dodgeball arc that went on for years and years. Are they still playing dodgeball to this day? I wouldn't be surprised.

Yeah I know about the sequel, but I'm assuming there will be downtime before it begins. She always took some time between chapters, sometimes a month, or more, to fill the page buffer and plan the story. I expect the hiatus between books to be more substantial and I wouldn't be surprised if it was several months or even a year, though Cope's work ethic up to this point gives me hope it won't be that long.

I also am not surprised she's not doing a part 3 given it took her 15 years to finish Unsounded. If she pours another 15 years into the sequel that's 30 years of her life to telling this one story. That's insane.

I got confused because your pic was the creator's later comic. But Monster Pulse was one of my faves throughout the 2010s: What if Pokemon but it was steeped in social realism and a little bit grim (as much as you can do without losing the all-ages audience). Very cute art too.

A young girl is asked if she wants to be a hero, and, excited by the prospect, gets whisked away to the land of make-believe - but comes to learn that its perils are very real.

Another comic with a great art style. The plot is basically β€œAlice in Wonderland” with Hero playing the part of Alice, but the stakes are a lot higher here. In fact they’re so high it feels more like Alice in Wonderland crossed with The Neverending Story. Makes you curious why Hero was chosen despite her age.

-Going back to redraw old chapters
-Turning text based with some drawings sprinkled in
-"I found God/a new religion/ a new ideology and it's going to feature more in my comic from now on"
-"I don't like the artstyle/where the story is going anymore, so REBOOT TIME"

They dont usually have the rainbow smile teeth and Mr.Puzzles has the exact same tv buttons and placement, shoes, suspenders, shoulders and is wearing gloves too. Like RGB, he is also an emotionally fucked up man involved with film making who was turned into a tv head.

RGB is one of the first tv heads, has been around for 12 years and was the most popular one by far before Vox came along. Dumbfuck MrPuzzlesfans viciously attacked his creator in mobs, accused her then 12 year old passion project of being theft and trash, in a time where her dad was dying and she is suffering from severe chronic pain. She almost jumped from a bridge.

Even the VA is aware of the incidents and ripping off, is uncomfortable and apologizing but stating he can't change the design and didn't make it.

After all of this Glitch doubled down and make MrPuzzlesan even bigger ripoff by having him adopt a quirky orphan girl and have a spooky darker colored alter ego with eye imagery just like NegativeRGB.

Tv heads arent humans or furries. It isnt hard to make an original one that is appealing or doesn't look like shit yet they couldnt do that AND STOLE THE WHOLE FUCKIN PERSONALITY TOO

The comic does gradually become better, though. At this point, it's somewhat decent. For example, in the previous page there were subtle hints that this lady is an impostor. Now the captain had a Jotaro/Columbo moment and confirmed it. It's a basic detective trope but these two pages are something I would have never expected before.
