ehhh if I can nitpick.. his small, round cranium makes him look kind of pinheaded. he's got a pingpong ball noggin. and the round skull mask doesn't help that at all, gives the impression of a receding hairline. In contrast to his narrowed eyes that are badass

The one thing I truly liked about The Ultimate Universe was the design of the Iron Man suit. Not the look itself, the helmet looked pretty weird, but the fact that they made it big enough to actually fit an adult male inside and actually had to be serviced like a fighter jet before and after missions to replenish fuel and ammo. It really set Stark apart from all the other heroes not just because of the silhouette, with him being bigger than regular people instead of having a skintight metal armour in the shape of muscles, but also in the way he couldn't just keep on fighting like they did, he had a set timeline before he had to go back to base or risk crashing it. It's probably the best choice they made for the UU and it's sad that the idea will never be used again. They even abandoned it in favour of a skintight suit in the later UU issues, IIRC. Cowards.

The coughing and him being hunched over were there to make him seem less of a droid and look more organic. I really like how the cartoon incorporated it. He didn't naturally have that hunch but it was a thing he did just so he'd be at eye level with everyone else, which then accentuated his height and made him look even more imposing when he stood up straight as he towered over everyone. Unironically just one of the many details that makes the cartoon design specifically a phenomenal villain design

It seems to be a Tumblr thing and it goes with that simplified art style. If you were drawing a character, you would make the nose shape a slightly darker and pinker version of the base skintone and then over time, artists copied each other and it got more exaggerated to where all of the characters had pinkish or reddish noses even if it wasn't that simple Tumblr style. It looks especially jarring on more photorealistic styles because it looks like the character is either drunk or has really bad allergies.
