This is inspiration to test the old idiom, ''The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.'' As a society, we must come together and engineer the greenest possible grass, then plant it next to a fence with opposing grass on the other side. Will we be disappointed or elated at the new, even greener than green grass that develops on the other side?

I had this happen to me once at a dog park. This chick kept insisting that her overprotective, growling doberman was perfectly friendly and that his bark was worse than his bite. The dog then proceeded to give the single loudest bark I've ever heard. It was the kind of sound you felt as much as heard.

Turns out all I had to do was hold out my had for him to sniff and it was all good. Still, my ears were ringing.

I remember a few years ago I lived in this village, walking home from the grocery store. One of my neighbors had this piece of dog that she let outside without any chain even though it loved to bark at people and/or chase them. She was right outside of her house unloading groceries with her dog at her side so I figured it'd be fine but the piece of shit ran right at me to sniff and/or bark at me. All she did in response was say "oh don't worry, he doesn't bite" and it took everything I had to reply with "that's what the last dog owner said before it mauled me". Eventually it got bored of me though. When I got home I still felt my heart beating in my neck. Fucking dog owners sometimes.

That's how dogs generally work. If you behave like a quivering prey item, that's how you're treated.

Ronnie is not a good artist and he isn’t excused from that no matter what he says. He has his charm, but it’s mostly stolen 4chan jokes and lame self-pity. Remarkably uncreative stuff both writing-wise and in drawing. Take a look at joe he dresses characters, or draws that dog, he is making the most default of decisions because he doesn’t really know how to draw any of it. Nothing in any of his panels pops, nothing is worth looking at. The legs on his character are so non-committal, I wish this guy would just grow some balls and really try to draw something right, and not the easiest way he can manage to get anything out at all. The fact that he really did a ‘motivation guy’ character and he argues with ‘his motivation’ in the comic is so weak, too

I do agree that he could maybe out in a bit more effort, but obviously his comics aren't the main thing he does and are more of a passion project.
