my Bing was having fits yesterday
it was stuck on "video" mode (on my tablet, I thought video was phone-only?)
so I had to keep re-clicking pictures each time.
(it actually gen'd a couple of videos, but they were kinda lame not worth posting)
the preview pics visible but disappearing images, with the little birdie on the globe, happened as well. here's what I did to weasel it through...
I clicked on the preview windows back-and-forth, each time it would "wink" the pictures before they vanished. (it required at least two previews in that scroll bar...) I simply "clicked like mad" where the pictures were winking, and (it involved luck and frustration, to be sure) eventually it would "click" on the picture and pop-up the window that let me save them.
