I just donβt understand it with supes suit. Like the trunks look great on him and matches when he doesnβt have his cape but with the cape on it looks stupid also while at the same time if you take the trunks off and leave his cape on his costume looks great that way too.

Are you one of those "just admit that you like kids! I don't care that it's just a drawing!" moralfags or are you just a newfag who doesn't know the contextual difference between those two words?

This is a screen grab from the Man of Tomorrow animated film, where someone strip the suit off, save for the shield. In War World, he's got a harness on over his torso and the shield is actually, essentially, strapped on to that harness. Also, the WW "suit" is more obviously leather.

To be fair, in the image anon posted, the shading IS different between the body and the head- the head's slightly more orange. Based on just that I WOULD give him a body suit- is that not the intention? I'm not familiar with the character

I've seen it drawn where it's just pure skin with the black pieces being the costume.
He does have pink in his original costume (see: https://www.weirdsciencedccomics.com/2016/04/adventure-comics-247-review-and.html), but it's not the pepto-bismal pink that Mattel picked or that some artist used later on. It was purple in the animated cartoon series they did on WB Kids, but otherwise a very similar looking outfit. And it was just an ugly black leisure suit looking thing on Smallville (with the same silver button as a design element/detail around the neck area). It's been a bit more rusty red, kinda pinkish post rebirth, but I haven't really been paying attention or reading.
