For me, MJ as She-Venom would probably have something similar to Julia's costume with the white gloves and boots, maybe some webs, and eyelashes like Anne's form had. Maybe MJ would have her white gloves be longer so that the black space created looks like her debut look with the sleeveless black shirt.
Or maybe MJ would just have Anne's design except with MJ's 80's big fluffy hair made of symbiote tentacles. I dunno.

Felicia is for Flash. No not for any real argument, only that there brief stuff during the Larsen run was fun and it was interesting to me. MC2 showed it didn't work out but I dunno I still like it.

Also why has Black Cat never gone against Slyde? That'd make for a great story of thief vs thief. Slyde having to maneuver around Felicia's bad luck powers would look cool. Him and Overdrive would be a force to be reckoned with.

Bros, how would you write an MJ series? Like from the perspective of a "Spider-Man's wife/girlfriend" slice of life or damsel in distress kind of story.

Alternatively, how would you write a story about MJ, Gwen, and/or Felicia all pining over Peter and getting into girl adventures while he's busy being Spider-Man?

Genuinely I don't want MJ to be thrust into a detective or superhero type story every issue. But issues where she gets roped into helping a mutant kid, or finding some bit of tech on the ground that is part of a larger scheme/mystery, or meeting a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent or some bog standard story ideas like that are useful once in a while. What I would want to do more of is exactly as you said which is SoL stories around New York and MJ being the vehicle of exploring how people in Marvel 616 live beyond one-off jokes like a person a social media platform taking a video of Spider-Man or a guy being angry at the Hulk and that being a commentary on conservatism.
Instead stuff like MJ talking to people and asking them what they think about movies or shows they watched and these pieces of media being influenced by actual events happening in their world.
Also maybe a scenario where her acting/modelling career takes off a bit and she has to travel around the world is something I wanted out of that solo before it was cancelled.
MJ also trying out the web shooters and accidentally getting to a conundrum like locking herself out and having to hide them while using them to get around her building would be cool or maybe even foiling a simple robber. Something akin to when she took out Chameleon except she is better handling it now.
Also I'd like to include Kristy more as a side-character and Peter's supporting cast would be more of a presence in some form.
And if all else fails, I'd just make her She-Venom at some point and do it the way I want. I know everybody hates the current stuff but man I've always wanted it.

Also see above. It's all about the upcoming writer and what Marvel wants to get their hands on: a popular, iconic gay character, like Harley is for DC. Sure, Harley is "bi," but outside of one issue where she mentions she might have a crush on Booster Gold, she's been in a committed relationship with Ivy, is in a throuple with Ivy and another woman right now, and will never go back to another guy or Twitter will shriek and scream until they undo it and do Harlivy again. Harley's time with men/Joker is now just part of her abusive past, and for all intents and purposes, she's a lesbian now. The same writer is taking over Black Cat. You just know by issue 3, Wilson will be introducing a woman intended to be Felicia's new, most iconic queer relationship. Especially with MJ coming back on the market most likely soon, Marvel has to have something for Felicia to do that isn't Peter, and what better time than now to pair her up with a woman for representation brownie points?

I'm sincerely not trying to be antagonistic like Gwenschizo. It's just how comics work these days. Tim Drake, Jon Kent, Harley & Ivy, all "bi" but will never be in a hetero relationship or even hookup again because then they can't feature in same-sex relationships in pride books and on pride covers.

Ran out of space to finish that post, but what's likely to happen to Cat is the same that's happening to Betsy/Rachel/Kitty. The genie is out of the bottle and they can't/won't shove it back in. Again, for pride covers and faux representation. Betsy and Rachel won't break up anytime soon and will just haunt pride books and Hellfire Galas as the token queer couple since they're not in a book. Kitty will never date a guy again. It's all the same with Felicia. It's a miracle they let Kelly use her as much as they have, but soon she's out of his hands and won't be in ASM.
