What are your preferred superhero physiques?
For Superman, I prefer the bulkier iterations.

Superman should neither look like he was built from steroids and lots of weightlifting (which seems to be what many prefer him to look like, e.g. Cavill by BvS) nor should he look like a large collections of sacks of farm feed on two thick tree trunk legs (e.g. the way Sales drew him as Clark Kent in For All Season, which a few of the people who don't want WWE Bodybuild say they prefer). OTOH, the For All Seasons is far more natural - and yes does make sense if you think 'muscles built from farm work,' given that the farm work is easy for him, Clark Kent wouldn't really have muscles built by them. It's also a look that can be common on human males if they have the genetic predisposition for it, think Moose from Archie, and any other such similar big guys.

He should have muscles because he is fit, but not to the excess that some artist draw (or that some fans want to see in live action). Hoechlin's body was just fine, for example, as was Routh's - Dean Cain just lacked the height, but for that era was also fine, albeit today, it would be a body like Glenn Powell's not Dean Cain on a TV show, and that's also fine since Powell doesn't look like he was built by steroids.

Superman is meant to disguise as a nerdy journalist, and his strength isn't accurate to muscles anyway, he should just be lean

Unless you are The Rock himself, it is very easy to hide muscles in clothes.

He's meant to be disguised as a mild mannered country boy. He's meant to be humble not nerdy. Spider-man is nerdy. Clark is unassuming.

I like the idea that despite Clark looks mild mannered, he's still a big boy. Like a guy would take a look at Clark and think he could take him but after a longer look the other guy starts to second guess himself. And the farm boy background helps explain the physique.

This is good for endgame Batman, when he becomes a living legend and conquers Gotham once and for all.
He should otherwise look like an acrobat.

I like the idea of him getting bigger and buffer and more bear mode as he ages. I think for the most part that's how his character has been handled over the years, too.

Has there been any pictures of Corenswetโ€™s physique yet? I think he looks like a good middle ground because bulky farmboy and ripped bodybuilder.
