This is not simple genetics. When I say the kids are different, we're talking about a brawny heroic warrior, a half-elf wizard, and a superhuman youngster. Furthermore, it establishes the mother as an unchained wanderer, ideal for this sort of setting. If you can't look past whatever issues you have with this, maybe this ain't the concept for you.
