all of the character designs are good. and the animation is pretty decent. but yeah I didn't feel compelled to watch it. maybe it got better later.

Yeah, it was a little too skewed towards kids to be interesting. The characters also look simple but have a lot of odd details, making them a little annoying to draw.

It's not the best show ever but it's a fun enough watch and the characters are absolutely adorable. Spoiler warning: all the funniest parts are when Misery is speaking.

I remember when Alger made that, it was during the time when fans thought they might be able to same the show by showing their support through fan art. Oh what a naïve time back then. I even made a few drawings myself.

This widely believed to be so, but I don't think there's any concrete evidence. >adult
The showrunners have said they consider her to be an adult, though I don't think it's officially stated anywhere. Meanwhile, much smaller characters have appeared in the show that were explicitly meant to be children.

It's weird to make a goth show and have it be on the level of a pbs cartoon. At least Coraline had some edge.
It had appealing character designs and that's why it was good for merchandise, the actual show only had a small handful of actually funny episodes. It didn't help that it was a really low-budget production with endless reused assets

Still get the impression Misery was the pet of the creators since she has such a detailed design in a show where characters just sort of wear a black dress.

It's not bad, but don't expect insane writing, animation or something. I like these bigger fan versions of the characters like pic related and >>149249044

It was fine if you like little girl cartoons. It had cute characters and the occasional decent joke. I didn't like it as much as say Hanazuki and it didn't reach anywhere near the highs of say the forbidden little girl's show but it was good.

I remember there use to be a decent amount, but the amount of time that has passed and this shows existence does feel like it is forgotten. That is just how it is with shows like this. It is Canadian, and it was never really airing in the states. You would only be able to watch it on Netflix, YouTube, or from Mega shares. The autism pool is not large enough to continue fanart.

Ruby Gloom is popular in Japan, they aired it on Cartoon Network and to this day many Japanese people think the show was a Cartoon Network original
in LatAm it aired on Boomerang (R.I.P.), which wasn't as widely available as Cartoon Network, but still more than what she got in the United States AKA nothing
