I looked at the previous Venom Unleashed for issue 8 and White also says that they did it because they got inspired by Dylan being able to become huge and MJ knows Venom as a bodybuilder type and sees herself as working with Venom and not as Venom.

All this logic and reasoning outside of Marvel not wanting to box themselves in creatively, still seems like cover. This line of logic feels like it could lead to more ruinous actions happening toward MJ's character. I know I have no evidence except the impressions I get from people dumb enough to work there.
At the very fucking least I would've wnated some acknowledgement from MJ saying this is some freaky shit, she is more comfortable with looking like a female, and the symbiote telling her they need to have that form so that their identity is secret would just ease me a little. I don't know if that happened but I'm not reading these issues over again.
At this point I'm just gonna wait until that cover with the blue logo or 250. Maybe that will be different from this dumbass shit and MJ will either get a different look or she won't be Venom anymore.

I agree that there are a lot of women and gays into Venom. I am willing to accept that. To those people I say just don't force MJ to conform to that shit because she's feminine as all hell. That isn't her character. I don't need her scratching her tongue like that guy in Ace Ventura when he sees the tranny villain as if being in a masculine form is that horrific but at least have her say this isn't her preference but she'll do it in order to save the day or whatever.
Maybe I'm falling for outrage but at least I'm not spending money and instead looking at it here. Curious how White has to say all this in interviews and not just have Ewing write it but I guess that means paying creatives more for more writing.
