He'd probably not get too far.
I mean get a decent bodycount but there are plenty who have dealt with the supernatural that a killer with a demonic patron helping keep them alive and posessing others would be something they could definitely handle.

Maybe a magic user like Ragman or Doctor Strange deal with him within a couple of issues, or maybe a streetlevel crime fighter like Batwoman or Daredevil deal with him over a short arc.

Not really. Friday the 13th is a horror equivalent of the equivalent of MCU capeslop and ruined slashers forever alongside Scream. It gave us awful slop like Hatchet and Terrifier while Scream gave us "ironic" slashers. Both are cancer.
It's just "what if Halloween was trashier and edgier". Not that it matters because all Halloween sequels were trashier and edgier.

I feel like one . For what it's worth, Halloween and Texas Chainsaw Massacre (technically not a slasher but you get my point) had fantastic atmosphere to them. They actually managed to convey the feel of dread, something I rarely see in horror movies nowadays. It's why I hate Blumhouse Halloween. Yeah, cool, you upped the kill count and the gruesomeness. You're still not as effective as a horror movie as the original.
And there's only so many times you could watch a guy in a cheap mask hack someone up before it gets stale and repetitive. I was struggling not to fall asleep watching Heart Eyes after hearing all the praise for it. Holy shit, what an agonizingly dull movie.

He’d likely need Doctor Strange/Ghost Rider in Marvel and Zatana/Constantine in DC.

Art in Terrifier 1 was just a human serial killer. He legit died in the end. The novelisation of T2 is canon and that showed that he was surprised at coming back to life. Art’s immortality is tied to the Demon that manifested as the Little Pale Girl/Vicky in T2 and T3. As long as they were around, he was immortal. It takes one of God’s chosen to kill the Demon responsible for Art. Now in T4 since the Demon is dead, he’s alive but mortal once more. So currently he’s only a street level threat.

Basically you need someone capable or killing Demons with holy powers to cut off his immortality. You might need someone who can purify/sanctify areas as well because it seems like he ended up being chosen thanks to his connection to the Terrifier fairground ride. That has its own bloody history that Art is wrapped up in and is likely why he turned out like he did and why a Demon chose him in the first place. So you need someone to cleanse the ride and someone to kill the Demon before you can put Art down for good. With all them conditions met though, he’s just another serial killer.
