There are lots of nice walking paths through the small bit of forestry behind my home, and I'd love to venture out there in the dead of night, but I do fear the relatively distant neighbors spotting an American will-o'-the-wisp and unleashing upon it a modern arsenal in self defense.

Huh, I was expecting the joke to be how a blurry picture taken quickly while running showed something concerning or unnatural.

That aside, I like walks but I always recommend exercising with what you can in your home where you have more control, I just don't get why so many people are opposed to it you're more likely to keep it up than going out your way to a gym.
I get the whole fresh air and nature serenity thing, but really that seems more for recreation than anything. Unless you go full Tarzan and turn the wilderness into an obstacle course, but that's just going to get you wood splinters and bone splinters.
