S2 ended with Wizard Kelly becoming the mayor and Maya staging one of the largest protests the town had ever seen. They're not "walking back" with Maya they'll either continue it as is or push it forward more.

>>149251532 The previous ones have the disadvantage of making people unearth awkward memories of the culture-war tide of red-pilled edgelords and grifters from both Gamersgate and Comicsgate, so their non-ironic use has retroactively become cringey by association.
>>149251532 Wrong, you ignorant faggot! An SJW is someone who is a douchebag leftoid who justifies their commie garbage with race, sex, religion, or sexual preference. "Woke" is the cultural element that presents anyone who isn't a Straight, White, Christian Male as an oppressed prole, incapable of doing real wrong. DEI is the corporate element that codifies that shit in the Human Resources department.
>>149251475 (OP) >A 4th season is also confirmed to be released in 2026 Fuck. I guess Disney ordered 3 seasons of this crap even before season 1 premiered.
>>149251561 Comments are gone for a lot of cartoons because of Youtube Kids. You can still bring up the like/dislike ratio if you want to see audience reception, though. For OP's trailer, the ratio is worse than on an average video but not disastrously awful.
>>149252596 So you have to cope and say heโs baiting because you canโt actually say how itโs wrong? At this point just cry to the mods to delete the post. It would be less pathetic.
>>149251475 (OP) It's a reboot which doesnt need much changed to suit the narratives they'd prefer to push. How can I tell that this is a narrative push? >louder and prouder
>>149252297 >SJW Current use dates to that time when it was decided that a tranny making a free game was terrible. >woke African-American slang for: "No, they actually are fucking with you." Repurposed to signal that this is a fact. >DEI A set of rules meant to check people from habitually binning a negro's resume.
>>149253194 >>149253286 Oh, I remember this scene but not that she specifically opted out of the animated Disney version. Then is there any way to have made this joke funnier? "You're like a fairy godmother! The one from the 1997 movie, not 1950."?

>>149253296 It's already not funny, so now I'm just going neutral here. But if the writers demand that Dijonay has to say something, then some line has to work, right? "You're like a a Whitney Houston fairy godmother"?

>>149251532 >before that i was called affirmative action colloquial its all the same but the distinctions are >affirmative action were mandates by companies to diversify >SJWs referred to a specific type of bleeding heart liberal on the internet >also they used to be just called bleeding hearts >woke was a word used by the conscious community, then co-opted by leftists allies of that, then co-opted again by the right to mock leftists >DEI was a defacto mandate from Blackrock to corporations to push leftist policies
>>149253422 >DEI was a defacto mandate from Blackrock to corporations to push leftist policies If they became convinced that blood sacrifice would make line go up, then employment contracts would require people to stab themselves daily. That's how it works. Blackrock has no feelings and no political stance beyond: "does this make line go up?" and they will set the world on fire and slay billions once somebody presents them a business model.

>>149254120 >>149254135 The reality is DEI hiring practices are basically built on a PR-related investing strategy and when you look into it, it's not some "woke takeover of the workplace", it's blatant tokenism and window dressing where there's a quota to fill, typically in terms of pointless middle management jobs and shit like "company newsletter". It's also a matter of like >Hire this many disabled people for a tax break >This government program has financial incentives for hiring more women >Set out to hire this many Black people and you can get a grant from this investment fund that was set up to encourage mobility for black people in the workplace >You have a DEI score which looks pretty to liberal investors and therefore more diversity= more investors. The biggest trick regarding DEI was that it was never about progressivism or being woke, it was always a matter of "make line go up". Look at a lot of the positions that were filled based around DEI and basically all of them are also positions designed to be easily laid off in case line starts going down too much.

>>149251695 >>149251668 If anything they'll make the ginger girl into a full-on alt-right racist. It might make people on twitter ask if the creator wanted that to be her character from the start of the original TPF
>Mayonnaise gets rejected >They blame it on her being black and not her being the shittiest person in the show. >Spend the episode flattering this turbo bitch just because sheโs black.
>>149251475 (OP) What purge? Disney is going to keep doing what it's always done, pander to the left while also pandering to the middle and avoiding too much controversy from the right, all they've done is stop using the term DEI.
>>149251475 (OP) It's just racist ragebait, not gonna watch as usual. The original one is still fantastic though, I don't even know why they rebooted this show because even blacks don't like the new episodes.
>>149251561 Because if they left the comments on, it'd just be people calling the characters niggers, except they'd say DEI instead even though everybody knows what DEI is a stand-in for.
>>149253443 SJW as a criticism came from the SocJus movement itself to describe the kind of supporter/activist who was so aggressive they became deterimental to the cause.
>>149256556 Still hoping we get a Maya dates a white boy episode but is embarrassed and constantly tries to hide him, only for the white boy to find out and dump Maya.
>>149257148 season 3 in this instance means a new production season, since they're split into two >season 1 = seasons 1 & 2 >season 2 = seasons 3 & 5 >season 3 = seasons 5+?
>>149254598 I think it's gonna be another colorism episode where a black girl with lighter skin gets picked over her for something or another. Maybe they're auditioning for a music video or school play or some shit. And the manager/producer/whoever goes picks someone slightly less talented because they "look better on camera", or some pussyfooted way of trying to actually say what the issue is without being direct.
>>149257356 >And the manager/producer/whoever goes picks someone slightly less talented because they "look better on camera", or some pussyfooted way of trying to actually say what the issue is without being direct that would be too subtle for this show
>>149257380 Nah, I think it'd be the right level. Some character going, "ER, UH... OUR LIGHTING SYSTEM JUST WORKS BETTER FOR THIS OTHER PERSON! THE COSTUME WE'RE GONNA USE LOOKS BETTER ON HER!".
Too subtle would be if Dijonay auditioned for something like a hero in a play, and got offered the villain instead. A role she has no interest in. When she asks why, the director just insists she fits the part better. They would never do that because it would call too much attention to the fact that Proud Family themselves engage in colorism because the darkest characters are also the loudest and most annoying compared to characters like Penny and Trudy.

>>149251475 (OP) I couldn't finish the second season. I actually liked the original show, and even though it also had moral lessons, the new moral lessons just feel wrongheaded. The reparations episode and the episode where Zoey's "friends" shun her for dating a black guy were just too much too close together for me to want to continue.
>>149258188 Can't wait for when her black rage overtakes her and she steps over the line and has everyone abandon her, revealing that no-one liked her for who she was or what she did; Only for what they could take from her.
