The OG Gwen being Dark Gwenpool hasn’t finished yet so we don’t know how she is back and evil yet.


Spider-Gwen is is an alternate universe version than OG and has spider powers and plays drums. The Loki of her universe tried to get a cosmic cube to reshape that universe reality in his image. Spider-Gwen manages to get the cube first and finally in order to keep it out of Loki’s hands, Gwen uses all of its power to rewrite her and her father into prime Marvel Earth where she now has a history there.

We’ll find out more next month but she supposedly rewrote history so that she and her father are a different Gwen and George Stacy than the originals who died there. So OG Gwen is not over written by Spider-Gwen, they’re just different people with the same name.
