If you watched the video, she has her own Minecraft account that she can log into and play whenever she feels like it. Not as in, it's a mod with an NPC. The AI actually plays the game.

Obviously it's not "true intelligence" yet. None of our AI models have gotten to an advanced enough state yet, and won't reach truly sentient AI like in MD for a long time. Perhaps we never will. Who knows.
