>You're never there for me!
>What?
>You're never there for me. I mean, you were there when I won the big game, but not when I thought the sky fell. And not at the ball field, and certainly not now. You've been ashamed of me ever since the acorn thing happened and we have to talk about it because Modern Mallard says avoiding closure can lead to molting. I'm already small and on top of that, I don't think I could handle being bald.

>Pitch a movie heavily inspired by your own relationship with your daughter.
>Let studio executives bastardize it into an offensively cruel POS.

Those aliens sure have empathy with each other. They did all that just to find the missing baby of a couple

Chicken Little is a fun movie, but it isn't the best Disney movie from 2005. Pic related is

This movie was pretty fun flipping tropes from what I recall, like how the girl next door childhood best friend who you think will hook up with protag ends up hooking up with the edgy rival looking guy and the edgy rival looking guy actually ends up being a bro who has protag's back after initial hurtles

Disney was still releasing 2D movies in 2005. They just weren't theatrical (or original projects)

The next movie is definitely better. It has a longer runtime, better CGI, a more complex storyline, and a sharper screenplay

Meet the Robinsons is similar to Great Mouse Detective in that they both set the stage for a big Disney resurgence that the sort of autists that categorize Disney animation history into eras overlook because they use Princess Movies as the "Disney is Officially Back" marker. By sheer coincidence, they were even immediately followed up by dog and cat movies in Oliver and Company and Bolt.
