I didn't know Bad Guys 2 was coming out until a few minutes ago and it's less than a month out. How are we feeling about it? Will it be any good?

The fact threads keep failing goes to show that Bad Guys is not that popular. Zootopia 2 trailer threads have had more discussion. Bad Guys doesn't have good writing at all so the characters suffer. And lets face reality the only characters people like are Wolf and Diane. The other characters are lame.

First off, Awkwafina as the spider was very fun and cute. Secondly it is well written, but that's not why furries enjoy things. Third, it IS popular but pandering to porn addicts primary demographic is not the strategy to take when making a sequel. Finally, the 3 girlboss thieves look extremely contrived and they've already done the "but the guy who looks good is actually evil" trope and it just feels like they're going to do the same thing here in reverse ala "the girls who seem evil are actually just le misunderstood criminals who want a better life!" But we already have Diane for that and even she was insufferable because she's an ex criminal who faces no penalties for her life of crime, instead having an entire basement full of evidenc- I mean gadgets

Got no horse in this race, don't like neither Zootopia or Bad Guys, but its clear Zootopia's brand power is more extreme so much like Incredibles 2 and Moana 2 Disney is going to crush Bad Guys 2.

But you might also be right Zootopia 2 is looking bad with that whole migrant reptile being treated badly story as if we need more tedious allegories to real life politics.

The snake can't be the twist villain because we already saw the snake and the cloaked humanoid in the same sequence of the trailer. My hope is the cloaked humanoid is indeed a human in disguise but Disney loves doing bad twists so I expect the unhooded villain to be something way out there like a magic dragon or a sci fi alien.

Bad Guys has to work without the boost Zootopia gets of being the "furry Disney" series. Bad Guys is positioning itself as the alternative Zootopia
